2026 Membership Fees

2026 Membership fees will be announced on Monday 16 February 2026.

Player fees for junior and senior players include all applicable insurance fees (per Rugby Australia), Rugby Victoria affiliation and training tops. Additionally, club fees include council fees (ground and pavillion hire, utilities (electricity, gas, internet, security etc), field and building maintenance, playing equipment and repairs etc.

Registering to play rugby

To sign up as a member, you need to do so via Rugby Xplorer.

  • if you have played rugby in Australia from 2019, click here to log into your Rugby Xplorer profile.

  • if you have not played rugby in Australia previously, click here to create a Rugby Xplorer Profile.

Once you are logged into Rugby Xplorer:

  1. Click Register (left side of screen)

  2. Click “Register to a Club”, click on the player profile and select Next.

  3. Search “Geelong” and select “Geelong JRUFC” for juniors or ”Geelong Rugby Club” for seniors

  4. Select registration type:

    1. Training Only Participant - allows you to undertake full contact training (with insurance coverage) however not play in games.

    2. Player - Allows you to both train and participate in sanctioned games

    3. Volunteer - allows you to register as a volunteer (Ground Marshal, Medical Staff, Committee Member etc)

    4. Coach

    5. Manager

  5. Select the Registration Type “XV’s Juniors” or “XV Seniors”

  6. Select the duration (either Monthly or Season)

  7. Follow the prompts to complete registration and pay fees.

ZIP Pay is available for use through Rugby Xplorer. Should you need to use AfterPay or Get Active Vouchers, please email treasurer@geelongrugby.com.
